Spanish public transport is usually reliable and on time but the main problem people have with it is the price! This is why so many people are choosing to rent a car as soon as they get to Alicante Airport, so they can avoid the hassle with transport fees and just rent a car for the trip. This gives amazing amounts of freedom, and allows you to go where you want, when you want and with whom you want all unavailable factors with public transport. If you don’t have a clue where to start when looking for rental cars in Spain, head over to www.anycarhire.com where you will be provided with endless amounts of free, informative and unbiased information relating to Car Hire at Alicante Airport.

Whatever your need for a rental car, anycarhire.com can provide you with a comprehensive list of all cars which are available for rent at Alicante Airport, and they also show you the prices involved with renting various makes and models of car.

The weather is usually rather hot in Spain, so as standard, most rental cars come with good, working A/c along with other perks. Fuel is cheap in Spain as well (compared to the UK), so getting a larger engine sized car shouldn’t hit your wallet particularly hard. 4x4s, sports cars, family cars and business cars are all available for rent, and it depends on your price range and personal desires for which cars you are offered.

Car Hire in Spain doesn’t have to be hard work, and can be rewarding and useful if completed successfully. This should however all be checked out and covered by the company who decide to rent the car from.

When traveling internationally, there is nothing more annoying than those pesky airport taxes. An easily-forgettable afterthought, airport taxes are fees charged to travelers, usually departing, for “use of the airport” or some other such nonsense. Although, in the olden days, most international airports had silly little kiosks where one had to queue up to pay the price and retain a ticket to prove they’d paid their way out, most have now converted to a system where these taxes are included in the price of your airfare. Now only a few countries around the world still utilize those obnoxious airport tax kiosks that can really put a damper on the last few minutes of your trip.

Airport taxes, also known as departure taxes or entry taxes, are essentially a way for countries around the world to exploit travelers for those last few bits of cash. Since most countries now use the airfare-inclusive system, it is easy to forget about these taxes when traveling in a country where you must still pay them at a kiosk in the airport.

Airport departure fees range in amount and can be anywhere from just a few bills of the local currency to over $100 USD, as is the case for North American and Australian travelers to Argentina, who must pay a “reciprocity fee”. This tax is the equivalent of what Argentine citizens must pay for a visa to their country. So, in the case of Americans traveling to Argentina or Chile, they must pay $131 – the same price that Argentine and Chilean travelers must pay for a visa to the United States.

If you are unsure about whether or not a departure tax is in use in the country that you’re traveling to, be sure to check online for country-specific information about airport fees. Travel Nation has also compiled a useful list of countries where you must still pay an airport tax in person, but bear in mind that fee amounts and general tax practices are subject to change, so it’s best to check with the U.S. Department of State’s Country Specific Information sheets for the most up-to-date info about departure taxes.

Because of the current poor state of the economy, everyone is looking for great deals on products and services in an effort to save money. This is especially true when looking for cheap airline flights, particularly cheap international flights. Fortunately, with the right knowledge, it is not difficult to get a good deal on an international flight. Below are a number of tips to getting a cheap international flight.

1. The best way to get a great deal on an international flight is to comparison shop. You should check with at least three to five different booking agents. The best place to quickly and easily compare airline rates is the internet. Online travel sites will often offer cheaper deals on their airline tickets than traditional ‘brick and mortar’ travel agencies. As well, you can often find private negotiated flight tickets on international flights. You should also look for low-cost airlines originating from your chosen destination. You should also check out online international discount airlines for some great prices on tickets. You can also check with international destination specialists as they can usually negotiate with airlines on restricted routes.

2. To get a cheap flight ticket, it is important to know the best departure times that offer the best flight rates. The best time to purchase cheap international flights tickets is three months prior to the departure date. Usually, the closer to the travel date the more expensive the tickets. Most experts recommend booking no later than 21 days before the travel date. As well, flying during off-season will significantly cut down on the cost of the flight tickets. Always check for special flight offers and discount deals.

3. When booking a flight, it is important to remember that the major factors that determine a price include: the length of the flight, if there are any stop-overs and the type of flight you purchase (first-class or economy). If you want a really cheap flight, you should book a non-stop direct flight in economy class.

4. Take the time to check the newspapers, magazines, fliers, and other advertising media for special international travel promotions and sales. Travel agencies will often advertise specials on international vacations.

5. Most people have some type of airline frequent flier miles program. Redeeming your miles points will save a substantial amount on your ticket. Airlines usually set aside a certain number of seats for award travel so it is important to book early.

Traveling abroad is an exciting venture, even if you are on a tight budget. If you are looking for a break from the stresses of daily life and need a little escape, you can get a great price on your international airline tickets by doing your research, looking for discount offers, and online comparison shopping for the best deal. No matter where you want to fly to, by following the above tips, you should be able to get a great bargain. You will soon realize that you can afford that special vacation you have been dreaming about for such a long time.

In the past couple of decades a growing number of people have regularly used the airplane as their means of transportation when traveling internationally. When the preferred method of visiting overseas is one of the excellent jets available from most airline companies, it is important to understand that this increase in number of travelers makes it even more important to know some of the common rules and customs.

While most international travelers are quite comfortable with the requirements of moving by air from country to country, some get confused and disoriented even when they believe they are well prepared. But many travelers take far too little time to become familiar with guidelines and requirements set by airlines, airports and government agencies.

The first area of confusion might be the differences between domestic air travel and transatlantic air travel, for example. Many vacationers feel that, because they have flown in their own country many times they will be fine traveling to and within another country. While some domestic and international travel rules and customs are the same, there are significant differences.

The airport screening process for international travel is usually a bit more involved than for domestic travel, especially since 2001. This alone should be a sign to the traveler that more time should be allowed for getting to the airport, getting through the check-in and boarding process, and getting out of the airport. The importance of planning for enough time to connect with a following flight is just one item that should always be taken seriously.

Expect closer baggage inspection with international flights, for example. It does not matter that there are grandparents or young children in the group, the airport and Transportation Safety Administration will still inspect baggage and persons for illegal items.

In the early minutes of time at an airport, domestic and international passengers mingle, often using the same baggage check and passenger check-in facilities. Sometimes the two classes of passengers find themselves separated when the screening process begins, but in most airports this is not the case. Many of the larger hub airports screen all passengers and baggage with the same process and the separation into domestic and international flights comes only at the gate. Passengers will be asked to remove all jewelry, belts and other accessories that might set off the metal detector. This inspection process includes the shoes. Travelers should expect this and be prepared for it.

One of the common factors that hold up check-in and screening, with both domestic and international flights, is the lack of proper identification. Some travelers just do not seem to think ahead and when they are asked for picture identification, they have to dig through carry-on luggage or explain that they don’t have it right at hand. Of course, these folks are usually asked to step aside, but the delay they created has already started. It is wise to have driver’s license, passport and any other required identification accessible. Tip: Bring only what is required and leave other important documents at home. If there is doubt, ask!

These are just a few tips and guidelines that may smooth the way for international travel. Remember that there is never too much information when it comes to being prepared for traveling outside of the home country.

A short hop between states is one thing, anyone can stay comfy in an airplane for an hour or two. If you are doing taking an overseas flight you’ll want to be prepared so you can have the most comfortable experience possible.

Get noise canceling headphones. The roar of the airplane’s engines can become unbearable after 6 or 7 hours. If you are on a 10-12 hour flight it can cause a pretty nasty migraine. When you put on a proper pair of noise-canceling headphones you are in your own world of quite comfort. You can use them to listen to music, or to a movie that’s on, or you can tap into the airplane’s sound system where you’ll find classical music as well as other stations.

Get a neck pillow. The pillow that will be supplied by the airline won’t be very comfortable. Get a nice neck pillow to be sure that your head and neck stay in place during the flight. You can use the pillow that the airline gives you to support your back or elbows.

Drink alcohol. On an international flight you’ll be able to drink free if you’re of age. Have a glass of wine or a beer to help you calm down and relax.

Drink water. It’s important to stay hydrated on your flight so don’t be shy about hitting the button for the flight attendant and asking for a cup of water. If you ask enough, they’ll probably end up giving you your own little bottle.

Walk around. It’s perfectly OK to stand up and walk around designated areas on the airplane. Every 2-3 hours you should get up and stretch your legs to get the circulation going.

Watch Movies. Watching a movie is a great way to pass the time and keep your mind off of how long you’re in the air for. On international flights you’ll probably have your own video screen on the chair head in front of you. You’ll have a menu and be able to play movies on demand. This is much better than in previous times when they would play just one movie on a bigger screen that everyone had to watch. You can even select TV shows and music videos, and watch a GPS display of where the plane is and how far you’ve traveled. On fancier airlines you might even be equipped with a video game controller and be able to play video games.

Sleep. Nothing makes the time go by better than a good nap. Some airlines will encourage the entire plane to sleep and wake up at certain times to help you adjust to the new time difference in an attempt to beat jet lag.

Traveling around the world is an expensive hobby, both in time and money. I can’t do it as often as I’d like, but I still take every travel opportunity that I can manage. It can really shake up your ideas about the world when you see other cultures compared to your own.

I’ve always tried to visit as many different countries as I can, and I’m still working on seeing more. I’ve been to many exciting places, but one country always sticks out as my favorite.

Two years ago, I took a trip to Spain. It ended up being the best trip I’ve ever taken, and Spain became my new favorite country of all the ones I’ve traveled to. Located in Southern Europe, Spain has a one-of-a-kind culture that can’t be found anywhere else. It has a lot to offer visitors; here are just a few of its great qualities and locations.

The country borders the sea on its South and East boundaries, with the Mediterranean Sea taking up the entire Eastern coast. There are beautiful beaches all up and down the coast, along with port cities such as Valencia and Barcelona.

The Costa del Sol is the Southern cost of Spain, and it’s the home of many beautiful resort cities. Marbella is one such resort town, offering many places for tourists to stay and enjoy the beach.

Madrid was my favorite part of the country, however. It’s a modern city with influence from traditional Spanish culture. The combination makes for an authentic, exciting Spanish city with a lot to offer. Madrid has a bustling nightlife, along with great restaurants and shopping locations. You’ll never find yourself bored when visiting the city.

These are just a few of the attractions in Spain; there are many more exciting places to see, and I plan on discussing them more in the future. You really can’t go wrong visiting Spain – it’s a beautiful country and you’re guaranteed to love it.

International travel can be a great experience; it allows you to witness many new cultures and lifestyles. International travel has many benefits which make it better than your traditional domestic vacation. Depending on your destination, traveling abroad can also save you money because of the current exchange rate. These rates change and may not be available in the future. A good exchange rate or activity that you would like to see may not be available if you put off planning the vacation. Another benefit of planning an international trip today is the current technology, which makes booking a trip easy. Technology can help eliminate the hassle of finding the best prices and locations based on your budget.

Traveling, whether for a long weekend away to a nearby country, or clear across the globe, is invigorating, refreshing and expands so much in one’s life that it is something that more people should do. Traveling abroad can greatly change your life for the better because there are many cultures and lifestyles to experience. These cultures can provide you with an entirely new perspective on life. Once you begin experiencing the beauty of the world, you may even begin planning yearly international vacations.

Currency rates fluctuate regularly and, as stated before, this may be a good reason to plan an international vacation today. Money is necessary if you are planning to travel and see the sights the country has to offer. If your currency can be exchanged at a reasonable rate, this can greatly improve your vacation experience. This is an important reason for traveling internationally now since you can get the most out of your trip. If you put the trip off the exchange rate may change for the worse and you can lose money after arriving at your destination.

Practical reasons

However, let us get down to the more practical reasons for traveling internationally. Frankly, it is understandable why most people would be hesitant to travel now. The economy appears to be in bad shape and many people are trying to save money. However, in some instances, this can be beneficial for travel, the airlines may lower their prices in order to get your business and this can save you money. Airline prices also fluctuate between airlines and by looking around you may find a special promotional vacation package that may not be available in the future.

Vacations are meant to be fun and enjoyable and this is another reason for traveling abroad today. There are many locations to visit from the beaches of the Caribbean to the beautiful and exquisite city of Paris, France. Experiencing something new is always the best way to live and an international vacation provides just that. This can spice up your life by allowing you to find things that you would not normally consider trying.

In fact, these days traveling is so much easier, more efficient and less time consuming than it used to be. We can travel across the globe faster and it requires much less energy than was required years ago. It is also possible watch TV, movies or listening to music while traveling. On some airlines, you can even follow the path of your airplane via satellite!

Technology and travel

Due to the technology available, planning a vacation can be stress-free as well. By using the internet to purchase your international flight tickets, you can plan your trip, get travel advice, and shop around for great deals. Technology has come a long way especially for finding the best travel packages. You can book your hotel, car, flight, and even your entertainment all on one website. If you are unsure of your destination, you can browse through the millions of videos and pictures of different locations to find which location best suits you. Planning an international trip can be an enjoyable experience when compared to the hassle involved years ago.

It is highly recommended to travel abroad at least once in your life and there are many benefits to planning your trip now. Saving money is the main reason for planning your trip today. When traveling abroad, you may have to exchange your money for the local currency. Currency exchange rates change frequently and this can have a large impact on your vacation. Since you do not know what the rates are going to be in the future, it is best to plan your trip while a good rate is available. You should also consider planning a trip because of the cultural value. Experiencing new cultures and lifestyles can help provide much value to your life. It may even change your life completely because you may find something new that you like. If you are planning an international trip, you should consider these suggestions because they can help you get the most out of your trip.

QUARANTINE AND INTERNATIONAL PET TRAVEL – WILL YOUR PET BE QUARANTINED?

Before your travel, it is important that you are aware of the classification of your country of origin (where you begin your travels) and the rabies classification of the destination (where you end your trip). If you have layovers on your trip, you need to be aware of quarantine requirements of countries in which you clear customs. The intelligent traveler will be able to avoid quarantine requirements of rabies free countries by planning in advance.

The countries of the world have been divided into three classifications that relate to pets: rabies free countries, third countries (low incidence of rabies) and countries with high incidence of rabies. Third Countries include all the countries of the European Union except the United Kingdom which is rabies free. The United States, Canada, Mexico are also considered third countries. For a complete list of countries in each category, go to Pet Travel and click on the Immigraion tab.

Below are scenarios for people traveling worldwide with their pet:

Traveling with a pet from a RABIES FREE COUNTRY to a THIRD COUNTRY or a COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES:
If you are traveling with your pet from a RABIES FREE COUNTRY, you can visit any THIRD COUNTRY or any COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES with minimal paperwork and without quarantine or a blood titre test. However, there will be restrictions and perhaps quarantine upon your return.

Traveling with your pet from one THIRD COUNTRY to another THIRD COUNTRY:
Your pet must have resided in a THIRD COUNTRY for a minimum of six (6) months prior to your travel date. You can then travel to another THIRD COUNTRY fairly easily. You will need a microchip for certain countries and the proper veterinary certificate for the country that you are entering. Your dog or cat’s rabies vaccinations must be current. There are a limited number of these THIRD COUNTRIES that also require an import permit for entry.

Traveling with your pet from a THIRD COUNTRY to a RABIES FREE COUNTRY:
If you are traveling from a THIRD COUNTRY to a RABIES FREE country, a blood titre test will be required, and the pet must have a microchip as well as the proper forms for the destination country. There is always a waiting period from the time you have the blood titre test until the time you enter the RABIES FREE country. In some cases, it is 120 days and in other cases, it is 180 days. If your schedule does not allow for a waiting period, quarantine will be imposed at the destination country. Jamaica is an exception as it does not allow any animals other than those born and raised in the UK.

Traveling with a pet from a THIRD COUNTRY to a COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES:
You can also travel to a COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES from a THIRD COUNTRY without a blood titre test and, in many cases, without a microchip. The problem may occur when you return from that country with a HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES to a THIRD COUNTRY. In most cases, except for the United States and Canada, a blood titre test will now be required.

Traveling with your pet FROM a COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES to a THIRD COUNTRY:
With the exception of the United States and Canada and a handful of other countries, anytime you travel from a country with a HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES to a THIRD COUNTRY, a blood titre test will be required, your pet must be micro chipped and you will need the proper forms for that country.

Traveling with your pet from a COUNTRY WITH HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES to another COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES:
In most cases, a blood titre test will NOT be required, and you will only need the proper paperwork for that country.

Travel from a COUNTRY WITH A HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES to a RABIES FREE COUNTRY:
If you enter a rabies free country with your pet from a country with a HIGH INCIDENCE of rabies, then you will either be refused entry, or your pet will be placed in quarantine for a period of four to six months. As COUNTRIES WITH HIGH INCIDENCE OF RABIES are not included in the UK Pet Scheme, quarantine is unavoidable.

There are several destinations where quarantine is unavoidable unless you are entering from a RABIES FREE COUNTRY.

NOTE: the above rules apply to 95% of travel between countries with a pet. Be sure to check the pet immigration information section of Pet Travel before travel. If you have questions, post to our blog or send us an email. We respond within 24 hours. The above rules only apply to dogs, cats, and ferrets.

Whether it’s a business or a pleasure trip, packing for trips can be confusing. Stop cranking up your stress levels! Instead take a look at the simple steps below that will help solve your problems:

1. If you are traveling out of country, make sure that you carry all your important documents (passport, passport photographs and other important travel documents)
2.	Do not forget to pack the first-aid box
3. Divide your bank credit cards, debit cards, cash and traveler’s check in different places in your bag. So in any case you get robbed, you will not be stranded for cash
4.	Determine the luggage weight before you start packing, in order to avoid excess fee towards excess baggage
5. Determine how many days you are going on a vacation and accordingly, you can plan on having two different looks per day i.e. one for the daytime and one for the evening. You can mix and match different combination of clothes to produce different looks. You can wear scarves, jacket, accessories etc in order to make it look different
6. Try to carry non-wrinkle clothes. Even if you spend the entire day in the same outfit, you need not worry. Also, you will get rid of the hassle of ironing and re-ironing your clothes all the time
7.	Avoid carrying clothes in shades of white or any color that is light, as it will not help you hide the dirt/stain
8. Determine the weather condition of the particular destination you are traveling to and pack your clothes accordingly. For example, you would definitely not need a sweatshirt for a place where the weather is warm and sunny
9. Carry two or three pairs of footwear (depending on the luggage limit). Ensure that the footwear you carry will match all kinds of clothes. Also, if you want everything else in your bag to stay clean and odor free, pack them in a Ziploc plastic bag
10.	Keep aside your toiletries in a leak proof bag
11. Identify what kind of activities you will be engaged in during the trip. Accordingly, you need to carry the right kind of clothes
12. Start planning your travel list by making a note of the list of things to do like places to visit, where you can go shopping etc
13. Set aside your clothes and plan the execution of your trip few days before the travel, in order to prevent last minute hassle

Global Travel International is one of several Internet marketing programs in the market today that is geared towards the integration of online booking and the brick and mortar business of a travel agency. It has a pretty solid reputation, and the fact that it has been around for the past 15 years is a testament to that. However, the real question is what it means for you? This article was created with the intention of helping you find out just that.

For a start, it is best to clearly understand this system’s working principle. In a nutshell, you are basically a hired individual that is expected to do the service of lead generation, and this is how you get paid. For a period of 14 days, it offers you the opportunity to try it out if it works for you with no risk on your part. The cost for the trial offer though is considered non refundable.

The cost in membership fees includes a yearly membership fee amounting from the $200 online offer to $698 which would grant you access to extra training modules and free vacations or cruises. Expect to also pay a one time activation fee. The system has three subscription levels consisting of Silver, Gold and Platinum. They all have a yearly membership renewal fee of $199. You subscription level has no bearing on the amount of commissions earned. It all depends on how much sales you manage to secure.

You will receive your own website once you sign up for the program which you can use to direct customers who are looking for good deals and booking travel tickets. Every ticket that a customer books grants you a corresponding commission which can tracked via a reference number through the aid of the system’s web page or by the GTI Travel Reservation Center.

One of the great things about Global Travel International is the fact that it has a huge network. Currently, they have 40,000 agents located in 80 countries around the globe. As a member, you may also benefit from discounts on your travel, accommodations and automobile rental expenses. There are certainly a lot of people who chose to become members in order to benefit from these discounts and are not a bit concerned about making any sales. This is especially true for those who travel a lot allowing them to save thousands of dollars a year on their expenses. It is also an advantage when you consider the fact that you are not actually doing any efforts at selling. Thus there is no need to exert any effort on trainings. Referring people to your site is all there is to it.

Having said all the great things about Global Travel International, I’ve also found a couple of challenges regarding its use. For one thing, the business operates in a polarized market. The first instinct of many people when planning and booking their travels is to access sources such as Expedia or Priceline which is the mainstream source for travel needs. Introducing your website to a large number of customers isn’t going to be a walk in the park. It’s also not easy to avail your self of those airline agent discounts which requires you to make $100,000 worth of sales.

The Bottom Line

Having explored the facts regarding this particular home-based business opportunity, I would say that the best way to take advantage of it is to benefit from the travel discounts that the system offers you as a valued member. This would be ideal for someone who travels a lot as part of their business needs. Expect the fact though that your Travel agent card may not be valid on certain establishments, so check on this first to see if you can make the best out of it.

With regards to actually making sales, it isn’t a very easy picture to paint given the fact that your income potential translates to $25 for a $500 ticket. The challenge of introducing your website also complicates the situation. It may help if you focus on group bookings and cruises instead. So unless you are up to these challenges, I would suggest sticking to the travel discounts if you have those travel needs. What do you think? Feel free to post your own review below
